Avasant Launches “AvaSense, Inc.” to Revolutionize Outsourcing Contract Governance
Los Angeles. This morning, during Avasant’s quarterly press conference, Kevin S. Parikh, Global CEO, announced the launch of a new Avasant company, AvaSense, Inc. Parikh described AvaSense as “a state-of-the-art web-based system designed to go far beyond typical financial and performance reporting for ITO and BPO contracts.” AvaSense includes advanced business analytics to assess contract data, invoicing and performance. The objective of the system is to provide predictive information designed to permit organizations to be less reactive. Parikh added, “we want to help decision makers solve problems before they become problems.”
Corporate spokesperson Shevy Magen noted that several clients are already using the system and report savings of over 20 percent within the first four weeks of implementing the technology. Bob Randolph, Avasant CFO added, “At its core, the AvaSense Dashboard is designed to provide useful financial and business analytics to support contract governance.” Increasingly, buyers of outsourced services are demanding improved services from providers; more recently with the advent of Business Process Outsourcing, buyers also expect regulatory compliance, efficiency gains, savings realization and improved service.
Following the announcement, Ravi Mahalingam, Avasant’s General Counsel added, “it is imperative for executives to understand organizational changes that create legal and operational ‘risk’ to the underlying business.” AvaSense will be offered both as a Software-as-a-Service (“SaaS”) and as a client hosted solution. The new Company will be wholly owned by Avasant Global Holdings, Inc. and will be based at Avasant’s global headquarters in Los Angeles, California.
