Capgemini drives its AI & Analytics capabilities though its Insights & Data (I&D) practice. It has successfully managed around 650+ client engagements with a global workforce of 16000 practitioners leveraging the Rightshore delivery model.
Its business analytics global practice network, which is a part of its business information management (BIM) practice, operates across 25 locations globally and manages a database of over 100 analytics clients.
It has significant array of proprietary assets and frameworks, including its Smart Business Insights suite, which has been well-received by its loyal customer base. For instance, a water utility company was able to detect nearly 85% of leaks using insights from this smart business solution.
Recently, it launched Perform AI, a new portfolio of capabilities enabling organizations to build and operate enterprise-grade artificial intelligence at scale. In addition to this, it has developed some point solutions such as social media analytics and customer wallet sizing.
It has partnered with some of the leading platform providers, including Microsoft (for AI & GDPR services), IBM (big data & advanced analytics platform) AWS (Elastic Analytics), Databricks (analytics platform), and Cloudera.
As part of the IBM Alliance, it has co-developed market-leading solutions such as SMART Analytics for financial services, smart leakage management, and smart asset management solution.
Investments and Innovation
It is aggressively planning to invest around EUR 500M towards acquiring digital and analytics firms. It has also created a network of 16 cross-practice AI Centers of Excellence (CoEs) in the US, Europe, India, Singapore and Australia.
There is also significant focus and investments towards upskilling talent through Applied Innovation Exchange (AIE), big data and analytics academies, boot camps on emerging technologies and tie-ups with academia/start-ups.
