The Avasant Foundation, funded by the Inter-American Development Bank LAB (IDB LAB), graduated 60 students from its Digital Skills Training Program in Guyana. The training program included literacy and numeracy modules in which students’ knowledge gaps were bridged in the language and mathematics skills needed to understand the digital ecosystem.

Cloud-based CRM suites are seeing increased adoption due to the ability to personalize the customer experience. These new capabilities are driving a 30% increase in CRM implementation services this year including CRM architecture, design, and managed services.
The Avasant Foundation, funded by the Inter-American Development Bank LAB (IDB LAB), kicked off its Digital Skills Training program designed to help workers in the Bahamas displaced by Hurricane Dorian and the subsequent COVID-19 pandemic. The program, designed by the foundation, will help unemployed and underemployed Bahamians build technological skills in high demand in the current global economy including project management, data analytics, and Agile development. The first cohorts began training June 21st, and eventually 500 fully funded scholarships will be awarded.
