This Computer Economics survey investigated key demographic information at data centers in all industry sectors. Survey results represent common data center attributes. Among the most important of these statistics are the number of data centers per organization; data center size (sf), raised floor area (sf), operating hours and days/week, operating system percent usage, system management tools and scheduling tools used by vendor, disk and tape storage capacity, and percent of sites using SANs.
