According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), business services—including personnel supply services and computer and data processing services, among other industries—will add 5.1 million jobs between 2000 and 2010. The personnel supply services industry, consisting of employment agencies and temporary staffing services, is projected to be the largest source of numerical employment growth in the economy, adding 1.9 million new jobs during the same time period.
