Today, nearly every organization is heavily dependent on technology to effectively manage and provide the services needed to run the business. Yet, senior management continues to indicate their IT organizations are not fully aligned with corporate goals. To effectively develop an IT and business alignment strategy requires skill, coordination, and the combined efforts of many key personnel. Additionally, to continually monitor and improve the alignment methodology requires the implementation of key management strategies such as IT scorecarding, activity-based costing, and other effective management tools.
