Computer Economics, Irvine, Calif., expanded its research team this month with the hiring of two Silicon Valley technology industry journalists as research directors.
Dave Wagner, most recently an executive editor for United Business Media’s InformationWeek and previously an assistant editor with the MIT Sloan Management Review, will take charge of the research firm’s major projects, including its industry-leading IT Spending and Staffing Benchmarks study and the IT Management Best Practices study.
In his new role, Tom Dunlap will be responsible for expanding Computer Economics analyst coverage of IT staffing, outsourcing, and technology trends. He has held editorial positions with technology news outlets JupiterMedia and CNET and the market research firm Apps Run The World.
They will both report to John Longwell, vice president of research for Computer Economics.
