SAP SuccessFactors Services: Accelerating HR Transformation with AI-Enabled Transformation Services

May, 2026

SAP SuccessFactors adoption is being shaped by advances in agentic AI, the growth of cloud-based payroll, and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)-led integration. Enterprises are primarily adopting SAP Joule for conversational intelligence use cases, focusing on AI-assisted insights, recommendations, and recruiter decision support, while adopting a cautious approach toward more complex decision-making and reasoning-driven applications. Moreover, adoption is being led by mature markets, particularly North America and Europe, where organizations are increasingly using agentic AI to automate workflows and enhance operational efficiency. At the same time, emerging markets are driving demand for industry-aligned and custom HR solutions to support growing workforce needs.

Both demand- and supply-side trends are covered in Avasant’s SAP SuccessFactors Services 2026 Market Insights™ and SAP SuccessFactors Services 2026 RadarView™, respectively. These reports present a comprehensive study of SAP SuccessFactors service providers and closely examine the market leaders, innovators, disruptors, challengers, and tech pioneers.

We evaluated 32 service providers across two dimensions: practice maturity and future-proofing. Of the 32 vendors, we recognized 24 that brought the most value to the market during the past 12 months.

The report recognizes platform vendors in five categories:

    • Leaders: Accenture, Capgemini, Deloitte, HCLTech, IBM, Infosys, and Wipro
    • Innovators: Cognizant, LTM, SAP Services and Support, and TCS
    • Disruptors: Birlasoft, DXC Technology, NTT DATA, and SD Worx
    • Challengers: Effective People, EPI-USE, KaarTech, Strada, The Silicon Partners, and YASH Technologies
    • Tech pioneers: HR Campus, Pentos, and Zalaris

Figure 1 below from the full report illustrates these categories:

“The next phase of SAP SuccessFactors adoption will be defined by the shift from isolated AI use cases to end-to-end, AI-driven execution,” said Ruth Steinberg, partner at Avasant. “Enterprises are leveraging agentic AI to orchestrate workflows through automated decisioning and event-based triggers.”

The reports provide several findings, including the following:

    • Enterprises are accelerating SAP SuccessFactors transformation programs as SAP HCM support deadlines approach. This is evident from services revenue growth rising to 27% in 2025, driven by increased investments in payroll modernization, large-scale HR transformation initiatives, and expansion beyond core Employee Central deployments into localization, BTP-led integration, and Joule-enabled workflow transformation.
    • Enterprise adoption of SAP Joule is primarily centered on conversational intelligence use cases, with nearly half of implementations focused on AI-assisted insights, recommendations, and recruiter decision support, while content generation accounts for a significant share, and more complex decision-making automation remains limited due to the need for human judgment and reasoning.
    • Enterprises are increasingly leveraging SAP BTP as a foundational layer to address functional gaps in SuccessFactors through external data integrations, workflow orchestration, and cross-platform connectivity, improving HR process efficiency and visibility while enabling unified workforce data and supporting integrated, real-time decision-making.
    • SAP SuccessFactors adoption is increasingly aligning with region-specific workforce priorities, with North America leading in agentic AI-led HR automation, Europe emphasizing payroll localization and compliance, and emerging regions driving demand for customized HR solutions such as payroll expansion, healthcare transformation, and multilingual HR operations support.

“SAP SuccessFactors growth is being driven by the adoption of cloud-based payroll, SAP BTP-led integration, and emerging agentic AI capabilities,” said Premal Shah, principal analyst at Avasant. “These advancements are enabling standardization of HR processes, automating compliance-heavy processes, and managing increasing regulatory complexity.”

The RadarView also features detailed profiles of 24 service providers, along with their solutions, offerings, and experience in assisting enterprises in their SAP SuccessFactors journeys.
