Avasant Foundation’s “Impact the Future” Connects Top Technology Leaders in Support of Youth Empowerment

In support of the Avasant Foundation’s mission of youth empowerment, top technology leaders gathered for day on the green and sunset reception at the beautiful Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes, California. 

The Avasant Foundation is honored to have raised $233,000 through this year’s “Impact the Future” event. All proceeds raised go to the Avasant Foundation’s empowerment efforts of deserving youth through education, employment, and entrepreneurship.

This year, guests experienced a round of golf on one of world’s best par-3 golf course, “The Links,” providing stunning views of the Pacific Ocean and Catalina Island. To follow, was an evening reception poised above the coastal bluffs, on a lush green outdoor terrace of the Terranea Resort. The reception was full of laughs, engaging conversation, and opportunities to hear more about the Foundation’s growing endeavors. 

During the reception, the voice of Annabelle Stephens was heard throughout the venue sharing her personal experience within the training and as current program assistant. “The Digital Skills Program brought a new prospective to my life. Applying for this digital training was a life changing experience,” Annabelle narrated as a touching video of the initiative played.  

“Today we are presented with a myriad of opportunities to compete in this new digital, global economy,” Kevin Parikh, Chairman and CEO of Avasant shared. “Accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic, the borderless and transboundary workplace is enabling more youths with job opportunities & career paths they didn’t have before. ​ At Avasant Foundation, we are proud be a part of their career journey, in training and preparing the workforce of tomorrow to succeed and thrive in the digital economy.”

Chitra Rajeshwari, Executive Director of the Avasant Foundation added the “Digital Skills training we provide is imperative for young people not to be left behind and the key is through continuing education and job creation in the digital economy.
