Through a partnership with the California Technology, Trade and Commerce Agency – Division of Science, Technology, and Innovation, CommerceNet is providing funding for the development of commercial Next Generation Internet (NGI) applications. The NGI Grant program nurtures the development of business applications that leverage the power, speed, and reliability of the Next Generation Internet, as well as its pervasive and ubiquitous nature. These applications are expected to have a positive economic and social impact on individuals, companies, industries, regions, and communities.
