Haiti is fast emerging as the most promising Call Center/ Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) destination in the Latin American and the Caribbean (LAC) region. A unique combination of abundant multilingual skills, talent pool, geographical proximity, and cost-effectiveness makes Haiti the next generation nearshore destination for global BPO firms. Haiti is also a perfect nearshore supplement to established LAC locations owing to a range of unique linguistic and geographic benefits making it ideally suited as a spoke to established nearshore hubs.
Over the past few years, the Government of Haiti in association with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and Avasant has been undertaking a series of initiatives aimed at improving the BPO sector in the country. One of the key initiatives includes the development of Haiti Digital Smart Services program – a unique one of its kind platform that brings all the key elements of BPO operations including human resources, physical infrastructure, sector incentives under a single online platform.
The Haiti BPO investor forum is aimed at educating the global audience about the potential of Haitian CC/BPO sector by bringing together senior government representatives, global BPO experts, service providers, and investors.
