Los Angeles, California – The Avasant Foundation (#avasantfoundation) launched its first annual Golf Charity Event on March 17 attracting over 100 global attendees, 17 sponsors and raising $155,000 to improve the lives of children. The event was held at the Santa Ana Country Club in Southern California.
“Attendees from around the world have caught our vision for impact-sourcing (#impactsourcing) – driving significant positive change in the lives of children while also generating jobs in developing countries. We’re committed to continuing this work with our sponsors and partners around the globe,” said Avasant CEO and Chairman of the Avasant Foundation, Kevin Parikh (@kevinparikh).
Based on the vision of Avasant’s CEO, the Avasant Foundation envisions a world where children are afforded opportunities to become productive and contributing members of the global community. 100% of raised funds by the Foundation are directly put to work serving underprivileged children.
