David Wagner is the senior research director at Avasant’s Computer Economics research group. Prior to Avasant’s acquisition of Computer Economics he spent four years as vice president, research for Computer Economics. David leads Computer Economics’ research efforts including the annual IT Spending and Staffing Benchmarks, Worldwide Technology Trends, IT Management Best Practices, IT Outsourcing, and IT Salary studies. He has about 15 years of experience as an analyst, editor, journalist, and public speaker. Prior to working at Computer Economics, David began his career as assistant editor at MIT Sloan Management Review. He also worked at United Business Media serving at various sites and roles, ending his career at UBM as Executive Editor at InformationWeek.
