Practice Maturity
- Infosys is seeing a huge demand for cloud security, infrastructure security (including endpoint security, perimeter security, and VPN solutions), IAM and managed security services (MSS) through cyber defense centers (CDCs). Therefore, it continues to invest in these solutions.
- In terms of industries, it is expanding its cybersecurity solutions beyond banking, financial services, and insurance (BFSI) sector to manufacturing, healthcare, mining, retail, etc. Thus, have investments equally distributed across industries.
- It collaborates with Microsoft to strengthen its threat detection and response capabilities for hybrid infrastructures and introduced a new security platform, Cyber Next, which leverages Microsoft Azure Sentinel SOAR capabilities. This includes 24x7x365 monitoring, lifecycle management, incident investigations, and SIEM data enhancement through real-time threat intelligence.
- To improve incident response time and reduce vulnerability owing to innovative threats, it introduced the Cyber Gaze, which provides a dashboard of all metrics across various security domains.
Partnership Ecosystem
- Infosys collaborates with 50+ global technology partners to develop a cybersecurity learning and development calendar. Some of the partners include Sailpoint (IAM), CrowdStrike (endpoint protection), Palo Alto (cloud and network security), and IBM (threat hunting and incident response).
- Last year, it expanded its strategic partnership with Google Cloud to offer full application lifecycle services as a Google Cloud Managed Service Provider (MSP). This includes offering industry-specific solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- It also partnered with SAP to help enterprises accelerate their digital transformation journey using SAP digital solutions. As part of the partnership, they also plan to create a joint go-to-market (GTM) engagement model.
Investments and Innovation
- Infosys is investing in its cybersecurity unit by setting up additional cyber defense centers (CDCs) in Bucharest, Romania, and Mysore, India, taking the total count to 6. It also plans to add one in Indianapolis, US, and another in Chennai, India.
- It has set up a technology and innovation center in Arizona to focus on autonomous technologies, IoT, full-stack engineering, data science, and cybersecurity. It also partnered with InStride to enable employees to continue their education at Arizona State University.
- It is focused on reskilling through training, certifications and skill-development programs, partnering with Purdue University for cybersecurity. Also, it has collaboration with 50+ global technology partners to develop a cybersecurity learning and development calendar.
