Practice Maturity
- CyberProof, the cybersecurity arm of UST Global, continues to leverage the CyberProof Defense Center (CDC) platform along with SeeMo to support the customer’s entire security operations lifecycle. Augmented its CDC platform by entering into multiple strategic partnerships as detailed below.
- Last year, it introduced Use Case Factory, which helps in the selection and design of use cases to accelerate the identification and response time to security threats. Thus, applying event-up versus the attack-down approach.
- With the governance and regulatory compliance increasingly gaining importance at the state and federal levels, UST Global acquired ComplyUSA, a compliance assessment and privacy automation platform, to augment its privacy and compliance offerings.
- Last year, UST Global launched a private cloud platform, UST FORTUNA, which is integrated with CyberProof, DevSecOps and AI platforms to offer a fully secure platform.
- It plans to continue to invest in channel marketing, increase sales team and leverage Microsoft Azure Sentinel to facilitate cloud transition.
Partnership Ecosystem
- CyberProof enhanced its managed security services platform by integrating its security orchestration automated response (SOAR) platform with ZeroNorth orchestrated risk management platform. This enables users to have comprehensive visibility into the security posture of their organization.
- It also runs joint marketing development programs in collaboration with SixGill, Microsoft Azure Sentinel, IntSights, ZeroNorth, XM Cyber, and SkyBox.
- It has a channel partner agreement with InfinIT Services (Germany) and PT-Royal (Indonesia) and in the process of signing with 3 other channel partners in North America and Europe. It also delivered its first joint presentation with InfinIT Services at IT Security Expo IT‑SA 2019 to cover the benefits of highly automated SOC operation.
Investments and Innovation
- UST Global has been investing in expanding its presence across strategic markets. Recently, CyberProof acquired Barcelona-based Necsia Cybersecurity to strengthen its position in the growing European and UK markets. The acquisition adds customers in BFSI, retail, and technology market segments and also enhances security capabilities including MDR services and consulting for industry compliance among others.
- To drive growth in APAC, earlier this year, UST Global opened its first Infinity Lab in the region along with its 3rd delivery center in Malaysia. It also recently opened a new office in Singapore which includes SOC and a Talent Development Center (TDC) to develop skills in IoT, RPA, cybersecurity, etc.
- It also opened a development center in Chicago to gain access to the high-technology talent pool and serve both local and global customers.
