Practice Maturity
- DXC has developed a strong practice with over 6,500 accredited and certified cloud professionals supporting over 800 managed cloud customers (40% of the Fortune 100) across 70 countries. To date, it has successfully managed more than 558,000 VMs, migrated 60,000+ IT workloads and have more than 570 solutions running on VMware and virtual private clouds.
- DXC Agility Platform, it’s cloud management platform, has been the epicenter of its hybrid cloud managed services offerings. In terms of multi-cloud management, it manages over 2,000 public and private cloud clients worldwide across multiple vendors, including Microsoft Azure, AWS, and VMware.
- In continuing with its industry-focused approach, it has built a set of solutions such as DXC Concerto Healthcare Cloud (healthcare), DXC Concerto Cloud for Retail (Retail & CPG) and DXC Concerto Cloud for Manufacturing (manufacturing).
- It has a strategic focus on hybrid and multi-cloud business, where it has been experiencing over 36% growth in Q1’2019 and reflecting strong bookings for enterprise cloud application modernization.
Partnership Ecosystem
- DXC has established more than 250 industry-leading partnerships, including public cloud providers, technology platform providers, and CMPs. In July 2019, it launched Azure Digital transformation practice to accelerate Azure-led cloud migrations and has aggressive plans to increase certified professionals from 900 to 8000 within the next 3 years.
- It has 30+ years old partnership with Oracle, under which it offers Oracle’s leading SaaS-based applications across multiple clients. For instance, it has helped one of the world’s largest mining companies to migrate 300 DBs to Oracle’s cloud using the customer platform running at a DXC data center in Brazil.
Investments & Innovation
- DXC continues to leverage inorganic growth measures to accelerate and enhance hybrid cloud capabilities. In June 2019, it acquired Luxoft, Switzerland-based digital strategy and engineering firm, and Virtual Clarity, a leading provider of IT-as-a-Service (ITaaS) transformation advisory services.
- It has invested and partnered with VMware to roll out a multi-cloud management service dubbed DXC Managed Multi-Cloud Services, offering consistent service management via an infrastructure-as-code (IaC) model.
