It has a strong client base with existing relationships into 95% of Fortune 500s and federal agencies.
- Global adaptive network with deep peering to most cloud providers as well as peering points with over 2200+ on-net data centers and 350+ CenturyLink-owned data centers.
- Offers multi-cloud management tools that enable governance, optimization, control of application environments and network.
- On-demand managed services anywhere, from network to app via Cloud Application Manager with cloud optimization, resale, platform consulting.
- CenturyLink solutions meet full SOC 1 and SOC 2 compliance, as well as ISO certification standards for quality, security, and business continuity.
Partnership Ecosystem
- Deep, established partnerships with AWS, Microsoft, VMware, SAP, Cisco and HPE for joint solution development and go-to-market. Most of its partnerships have been in place since 2010 and have deepened with multiple ongoing joint market development activities.
- High engagement with Azure and AWS and has been certified as Microsoft Azure Expert Managed Service Provider and Amazon Web Services (AWS) MSP Premier Partner. It also has plans to engage with GCP to provide managed services in the future.
- CenturyLink also extensively sources various orchestration and cloud operations tools from its partner base.
Investments & Innovation
- CenturyLink is investing in a number of feature enhancements to its technologies. For the Cloud Application Manager (CAM) platform, integrations with Cloud Connect (planned for 2019) and SafeHaven for backup and DR are in the cards. The CenturyLink Private Cloud, its software-defined private cloud will also see feature enhancements including enabling it on third-party clouds.
- It is continuing to build orchestration and management capabilities by investing in multi-cloud management tools and virtual services, and will be expanding its managed services for Google Cloud Platform.
