THE CHALLENGE
Global youth unemployment is projected to decline to 73 million in 2022. The recovery of youth unemployment rates is projected to diverge between low- and middle-income and high-income countries.
The youth labor force participation rate is projected to increase worldwide in 2022, but it is nevertheless expected to remain more than 1 percentage point below the 2019 level.
Young women exhibit a much lower employment-to-population ratio than men, and the gender gap has shown no sign of closing over the past two decades.
OUR SOLUTION
Avasant Foundation’s Digital Skills and Digital Entrepreneurship training programs offer fully funded opportunities for youth who may otherwise lack access. These programs play a crucial role by providing individuals with the necessary skills to participate in the digital economy.
